हेम Hem, gold ज्योतिष Jyotish, the science of light

Every technique you predict with, worked out in front of you.

A professional Jyotisha workbench in your browser. The arithmetic that takes an afternoon by hand — sixteen vargas, five dasha systems to the day, transits with vedha and tara bala, shadbala, ashtakvarga, Jaimini, KP sub-lords, naadi combinations, varshaphala, muhurta — is done the moment the birth details are in, so your time goes into the judgement. Ask Uttara about the chart in plain words, and it answers from the workbench's own figures.

Access is by invitation — to ask for one, write to support@hemjyotish.in. Positions come from a built-in ephemeris, calculated in your browser.

The same chart, five ways — the Studio stage, the Night Sky theme in light and dark, and the legacy worksheet in Parchment and Slate.

Everything a reading turns on

One chart, read every way the tradition reads it, without moving between programs.

Kundali and the vargas

North, South or East Indian style, D1 to D60 and any D-N each with its own lagna, vargottama and repeated signs found for you, the rashi read from any sign or special point as lagna, and every yoga the chart forms named with why. The birth time can be entered by the clock or as ghatis and palas from sunrise.

Fifteen dasha systems, to the day

Vimshottari, Char, Yogini, Mandook, Tridasha, Kalachakra and nine nakshatra dashas — Ashtottari, Shodashottari, Dwadashottari, Panchottari, Shatabdika and the rest. The chain running today is opened and marked to sookshma; every row says what its lord is — exalted, debilitated, vargottama, pushkara.

Transits and muhurta

Any date, past or future. Gochara from the Moon with vedha, latta and tara bala, the transit drawn over the natal chart, each graha's next change of sign to the minute, and the day at any place cut into its muhurtas and tested for the act you are electing.

Strength and dignity

Shadbala, ashtakvarga and UAA strength, every graha's dignity, dispositors, pushkara and argala in one sortable table; and the profession read from the tenth lord and the navamsa.

Panchang, festivals and varshaphala

Tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana and vara for the birth and for any day, with the hour each ends. Every festival and vrata — Diwali, both Navratris, Karwa Chauth, every named ekadashi and sankranti — tested at the hour it is kept. The day by email or sent on WhatsApp; and the Tajika solar return for any year, muntha and year lord included.

Prashna and hora prashna

A chart for the moment a question is asked, read by the classical rules, with the hora lord counted for you.

Jaimini and special points

Chara karakas, arudha padas, rasi drishti, Chara and Narayana dashas, and the upagrahas with Mandi.

KP and the sarvatobhadra chakra

Krishnamurti Paddhati with its own ayanamsa, Placidus cusps and the sub-lord of every graha and cusp; and the eighty-one squares of the sarvatobhadra chakra with each transit's vedha traced across it.

Naadi

The directional chart groups the houses by direction, 1-5-9 east, 2-6-10 north, 3-7-11 west, 4-8-12 south, and finds the naadi combinations that form in each, with what each one is read as.

Shapa dosha and upaya

The curses, read from the badhaka sthana and the 6th lord, each with the combination behind it and its parihara; and the remedies a chart asks for, graha by graha.

Matching and ankajyotisha

Compatibility between two saved charts — Ashtakoota and Dashakoota with their exceptions, Rajju dosha and how the two dashas run together — and numerology from the name and the date of birth.

Hastrekha

Photograph the hand: the mounts, the major and minor lines and marks are read, the hand is dated, and the reading is set beside the chart.

Ayurdaya

Naisargika, pinda and amsha ayu worked out in full, with every correction shown.

Vastu Coming soon

The eight directions and the Brahmasthan, each weighed by this chart; a floor plan read from a picture, true north from the Sun over the plot, the 32 entrance padas and the 16 zones.

Mundane Coming soon

The chart of a country, cast for the Mesha sankranti at its capital: the twelve houses of the nation, the year's eclipses, slow grahas changing sign, the harvest and the rain year.

Ten Indian languages

Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and English — the whole workbench, readings and tables included, switched at any moment.

Uttara, the assistant

Ask about the chart in plain words: which dasha is running, what a transit touches, what to do about it. Answers come from the workbench's own figures, and nothing leaves the site.

The panchang in your inbox

The advanced edition for Delhi on the first day of Sharad Navratri.

Built for the prediction, not just the chart

Any program will draw a kundali. HemJyotish is arranged around the four things a reading actually turns on — when, how strongly, from which system, and confirmed by what — and keeps them on one screen.

Timing you can point at

Vimshottari, Char, Yogini, Mandook and Tridasha opened to the sookshma running today, each period judged over its whole chain rather than off its last lord. Drag the timeline head in Studio and the transits of that day are laid into the natal chart. Varshaphala for any year, muhurta for any act at any place.

Strength before promise

Shadbala in rupas against what each graha needs, bhinna and sarva ashtakvarga on every varga, UAA strength, dignity, combustion, pushkara and sarpa drekkana — in one sortable table, so a yoga's promise is weighed before it is spoken.

More than one system

Parashari and Jaimini side by side, KP sub-lords on Placidus cusps, naadi combinations by direction, Tajika varshaphala, the sarvatobhadra chakra and the progressed chart. When two systems say the same thing, say it with confidence.

Confirmation in hand

Prashna and hora prashna for the moment of asking, ankajyotisha from the name and date, and hastrekha read from a photograph of the hand — each set beside the chart, so a reading is checked against something other than itself.

See it work

Each demo plays a few real screens from the workbench. Pick a feature, or let them run.

Three ways to work the same chart

Switch from the ⚙ menu at any time. Nothing is recalculated; only the arrangement changes.

Standard

Tabs and cards

One tab per technique, each card a question answered in full with its working shown. The place to learn a chart, and the view the printout follows.

Legacy worksheet

One sheet, the old way

The whole chart on one screen — a wide rashi with degrees, nakshatras, karakas, arudhas and the ashtakavarga, today's sky for any date in any varga, the running periods with their taras and the birth's panchang — in the Parchment or Slate skin.

Studio

Stage, inspector, timeline

Rasi and navamsa at full height with the layers you choose — degrees, transits, upagrahas, arudhas. Click a graha, a house or a sign and the inspector opens on it. The Vimshottari lanes beneath carry a head that drives the transit layer.

Made for a practice, not a single chart

A consultation is a library of charts, a question a client asked, and a report that goes out with your name on it.

Find across every chart you have saved

Ctrl K opens Find. A name, a place, a year — or a placement in plain words: Saturn in the 7th, 10th lord in the 3rd, Mandi or the Sun in the lagna or the 10th, at least 3 planets in one house. The matching charts open with the placement marked.

Bring your library with you

Import from JHora, Excel or CSV, or paste a list of births. Every library opens with reference charts — Raman, K. N. Rao, Newton, Vivekananda, India — cast by the same ephemeris, so you can check the app against charts you know.

Reports, notes and the native's privacy

Print any tab or the client report as a PDF, keep notes on each chart from any tab, and hide the native's name to initials on screen and in print when a chart is shown to someone else. English or Hindi throughout.

From birth details to a reading

  1. Sign in

With the Google account your invitation was sent to. Nothing to install; the same workbench on a desk, a laptop or a phone.

  2. Cast, or import

Type the date, time and place, and the chart calculates itself as you go, the place found from a built-in table of cities. Or bring charts in from JHora, Excel or CSV.

  3. Read, in the view you like

Move through the tabs, open the Studio stage, or rest on the worksheet. Drag the timeline to a date, ask Uttara what it touches, and jot a note on the chart.

  4. Save, and hand it over

Save the chart to your library; tick Sync across devices and it follows you. Print the client report as a PDF with the native's name shown or hidden.

Your charts are yours

Calculated in your browser

Positions come from a planetary and lunar ephemeris built into the page. No chart is sent anywhere to be worked out.

No outside AI

Uttara reads the chart from the workbench's own figures. No question or chart goes to an outside AI service.

No ads, no trackers

No advertising and no third-party scripts. Saved charts stay in your browser unless you tick Sync across devices, which also keeps them on our server under your own sign-in so they follow you; photographs never leave the device they were added to.
